Here's where to register
The 2025 Verbal Behavior Conference is coming up really fast, so I wanted to send a quick reminder in case you have the opportunity to join us.Â
Â
The conference will be hybrid, and hosted in person at the Commons
Conference Center The University of Texas in Austin, TX, and live streamed/recorded through BehaviorLive. The mission of the VBC is to highlight, support, and mentor practitioners and researchers who utilize the theoretical, practical and empirical information about verbal behavior in their professions.Â
Â
The conference is
organized and hosted each year by the Central Texas Autism Center and its founder, Kelle Rich, BCBA, LBA.
Â
This year, we are proud to have Dr. Pat McGreevy, Dr. Tiffany Kodak, Dr. Judah Axe, Dr. April Kisamore-Hunter, Dr. Barbara Esch, and Dr. Caio Miguel as speakers!
Â
There is also a Pre-Conference Workshop March 26, 2025 with Dr. Barbara Esch!
Â
One of my favorite things about this conference is that there are numerous opportunities to
interact directly with the speakers. Whether it's between talks, grabbing coffee in the morning, or at the conference's happy hour, attendees will have the chance to pick the brains of these amazing practitioners and scientists. It's honestly like no other event I've been to.Â
Â
It's also important to add that the online experience is top notch. As the panel moderator, I watch the live chat throughout the entire event, and over the years I've been involved with the VBC, I
recognize many repeat attendees.Â
Â
Online attendees have historically been quite vocal in their participation, oftentimes asking more questions than the in-person audience during Q&A sessions. BehaviorLive technicians are onsite the entire time in order to ensure that the event is brought to you with as much realism as technologically possible.Â
Â
All of this to say that if you need some CEUs, and you want to see talks that are simultaneously
accessible AND intellectually stimulating, this is the event for you.Â
Â
I hope to see you there.
Â
All the best, Matt
